Welcome to Pack 601!
Here is what happened at the last Pack Meeting ...
- Details of what lead to the move from Pack 46 to Pack 601 were discussed in full.
- Plethera a new benefits and opportunities for everyone.
- Introduction to Troop 601 and leaders James (Scoutmaster), Steve (Committee Chair), and Bobby (Charter Rep).
- The boys of Troop 601 donated $500 more to our Pack. THANKS a million.
- Every Tuesday night at FPCA is reserved for cub scouts. Open to Den meetings as well.
- Rules for the room .. Use bathrooms located around the corner, not the one inside the hall. Use the water fountain inside the hall, not the one around the corner.
- Wekiva Elementary is our "home" school - Roundup is scheduled for Sept. 2nd.
- Apopka Elementary is also now in our district - Roundup is scheduled for Sept. 24th.
- This Friday is "Meet-the-Teacher" at Wekiva. Looking for volunteers in 15 minute increments. 10am-12pm. E-mail Erica.
- New parent and scout applications need to be filled out for everyone. Erica will find you.
- Popcorn is starting up. 4 show-n-sells have been setup. Watch your e-mail for more information.
- Or, you may choose to sell popcorn on your own. Order forms should already be in your mailbox.
- Troop 601 initiated a Flag Burning Ceremony with the Pack to retire Pack 46. Afterwords a fun game of "tag".
- New Leader Training is required. Find schedule in the Handouts section for more information.
- Looking for more volunteering this year. Everyone please sign-up for at least ONE event to volunteer for.
- Two Pack camping events scheduled are: Lanoche in October and Ft. Wilderness in March.
